How have you been enjoying the hot summer? Barely surviving in the cruel heat? All you and your dolls need is beer!
Today, I experimented with making a miniature of beer-in-a-glass and it came out pretty good. So I want to share how I did it.
What you need
Clear straws (I used bubble tea straw), baking soda, marker (to colour beer inside), glue, glue gun
How to make
- Cut the straw into a length of a beer glass. Mine is about 2cm.
- Cut paper into a rectangle and colour one side yellow or brown. This will be beer so you want to cut it a bit shorter than your straw (=glass).
- Roll the paper you just coloured.
- Place the paper (beer) in the straw (=glass).
- Place the beer in the glass from step 4 on a small piece of paper and fill it with a glue gun. A glue gun will hold the paper and give it some weight. It also will hold bubbles we are going to put on top of the beer in the next step.
- In a small container, mix baking soda (2-3 parts) and glue (1 part).
- Decorate the top of the beer with the baking soda mixture and make it like the beer is just served.
- Cut off the excess paper from the bottom of the glass.
Shannon is already enjoying the refreshing cold beer. Cheers!
